The nature of Bali

Love pure has its origins in a beautiful Indonesian island, Bali. Here, nature is the heart of the entire land. For those who have never been there and don’t know anything about it, this is the perfect article to discover some interesting things about the island. Maybe, it will become your next destination.

Indonesia counts 17,508 islands including Bali. It’s one of the most popular and well-known islands for tourism purposes.
In Kuta and Seminyak cities you can find the nightlife, the bars, and the restaurants. Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Uluwatu are famous areas for luxury resorts and boutique hotels and Uluwatu is very well known as well as a unique spot for surfing. Amed is one favourite place for diving and last but not least, Canggu is now the new center of development of the island, where a lot of foreigners are opening businesses of any type: from restaurants to shops and beach and surf clubs.

Let’s see, now, what was already there before all the tourism has started.

CORAL REEF

Not far from the surface the coral  reef in this area is beautiful,  unfortunately, in danger of survival.  Even Nusa Penida and  Nusa Lembongan, the two islands off the coast, have been showing amazing marine life and gorgeous underwater plants.

The urgence to try to save the coral reef has been spreading from activists, volunteers and people who love the island and the nature, but there’s still a lot to do. Truth is the coral reef is dying.

VOLCANIC MOUNTAINS

Bali has 4 volcanoes, Mount Agung and Batur are the two active volcanoes on the island. Located in the North and at the center of the island, in these areas you will find totally different landscapes. From paradise beaches with crystal water on the coast, to savage lands surrounded by mountains. Isn’t it spectacular?
The island changes its landscapes, but not the amount of nature that lives in Bali.

RICE-FIELDS

Bali is well-known for its magnificent rice-fields all over the island. This green, majestic, and huge land is a very suggestive place for the mind and the spirit. They are natural places that are part of the most beautiful landscapes of Bali.
The two biggest rice-fields are Tegallalang and Jatiluwih. The second one is, today, part of the Unesco World Heritage.
Anyways, all around the island, there are many little rice-fields and rice-terraces to take inspiration from and to enjoy while driving on the roads.

BEACHES

Bali is a paradise island where beaches are not missing. The ocean blessed Bali with crystal waters and beautiful sands. There are so many different beaches with different landscapes and each one of them has some special characteristics. From the most savage to the simplest one, there are beaches for every taste!
There are also ideal spots for surfers or more hidden places for the more adventurers.

The island is surrounded by so much wild nature and flowers bloom of so many different kinds. The five most common are Nyctanthes Sambac, Phalaenopsis Amabilis, Lotus, Frangipani and Pachystachys.
In the Balinese culture, flowers are a very special element because they are used for religious rituals like offerings to the Hindu Gods.

WATERFALLS

For nature lovers who like to go and find beautiful things that Mother Nature has hidden into the wild, Bali is also the right place to be. The island hides a lot of waterfalls which have to be found in the middle of the forest. For example, Gigit, Kanto Lampo, Kroya or Tagenungan Waterfall. They are located from the South to the North of Bali.

Bali is a source of inspiration in so many ways. As a matter of fact, Love Pure has been founded on this island because the energy was magnetic. There were and still are many reasons for enhancing creativity and the connection with nature.
The island of Bali has a majority of people following the Hinduism religion. They have this belief in which every element coming from the Earth is influenced by the spirit. Their temples are sacred and their architecture is an inspiration for Love Pure.
Art, buildings, constructions, traditions are all factors that bring inspiration to our company.
